Hooters Hall Handcrafted Art Yarn is a one of a kind completely handmade yarn. I hand shear my flock of Jacob sheep and process the wool entirely by hand. Washing, picking, carding and spinning the wool at Hooters Hall.
I use this art yarn in my textile art. It's a single handspun yarn and each skein (this is skein number two) really is one of a kind.
The variation in colour is all natural and although generally super chunky it has been spun with a variable thickness. The texture also varies with some under and over spinning.
If you scroll through the pictures you will see the carded batts of wool ready for spinning which will give you an overall idea of the fleece colour pallette used to make the yarn.
Skein number two weighs 489g approximately 73m long.
